LEANNE PERCEVAL (NSW)

Hi everyone, My name is Leanne and I started showing rabbits in 2011. Late 2011, I discovered rabbit hopping on Youtube and was instantly interested with the sport. I did a google search and found a website belonging to Aase and Rasmus Bjerner from Denmark. I soon realised that these people had assisted a few countries with setting hopping up and so I went ahead and contacted them. With their assistance, we translated the rules to english and began to run unofficial competitions under the new club name "Rabbit Hopping Society of Australia" In July 2013, Aase and Rasmus visited Australia to finish assisting us with the rules and regulations, as well as the finishing touches the club needed to begin running official competitions. A course was run by them to qualify some of us as official hopping judges.
